"POD" (podimus)

Got the winter tires installed on both cars. Did a little kludging on the wifes car to temporarily fix the skid plate until we can get another one from Pick Your Part (Zip-Ties to the rescue).
Came back in and saw the hound in my spot. He does that pretty much every time I go out and work on the cars. Thieving bastard. Computer was still open to Oppo when I left. I cheated and placed his paw on the track pad. Other than that, that's how I found him. Dog's got good taste.
Apologies for the potato camera shot.

Great dogs aren't they?
I just read an article where Greyhounds were rated the best apartment/townhouse dog. I'd have to say I agree with that. I take mine to a fenced off hokey ring every week or so (in good weather) to let him run. Other than that, a few walks a day and lots of couch time.

Your guy is a bit bigger than Rex. Rex is 90 pounds and 29.75" at the withers.
Yes, I know what you mean about having to watch them. Rex is good on a leash, and will come when called, but given the chance, he'll chase after something interesting. At his speed, I'd have no luck trying to run after him. They never really loose that.

I lost him 3 times. Damn they really can run. I chased him down the beach once in a car. It was phenomenal

Glad you got him back. Watching these hounds go at full tilt is really something impressive. Rex has only gotten out once. Fortunately I was right on him and he came back when called. Must not have been anything too interesting outside at the time.
I do forget who I share this video with, so if it was with you, I apologize. I took a video last summer of Rex in a fenced in Hokey rink (shameless Top Gun Anthem used).

He was certainly not going full speed and I still had a hard time keeping the camera on him.

nope good to see it! I have one of mine (on dvd, will have to convert) on a racetrack for a "fun run". He sucked when he raced, but whooped ass on the fun run. Haha the music is great

Thanks! If you get it converted send me a link, I'd love to see it.
Rex (or Bob's Big T) did well on the track from what I can gather.

Ahh yes, I do know that site! Unfortunately the wife has our login and she's working. I should make my own account though. I'll see if I can and gather some information for you on Rex.
I found this other video as well. More shameless music used.
